19th Birthday Bash During Pandemic

During Pandemic Birthday: I did not want to see this birthday and was unhappy. Till last year, things were different. From few days before, an intention was roaming in mind that birthday would be boring. Last year, on my PRE Birthday, I went to cafe. 

An hour before, I slept. At 12, whole Family put speaker and played birthday song. I woke up and found, all were there and room was decorated beautifully. I cut the birthday cake. I have a joint family, we had a get together whole night. Last year my friends, relatives were also there. 

When I woke up in the morning , I was hugged by all and special feeling to me was when my mother hugged me. They played a game with me in which they gave chits and after reading those chits, I was asked to find gift. 
My friends, family, relatives gave me blessings and wished me with lovely messages. I had video calls with everyone. I went to the Temple to take blessings and I donated food items to the people present there. Then we had delicious lunch in the afternoon. I was locked in a room till evening. 

Time passed and evening came. I dressed up just like a birthday girl. My family came to me and they closed my eyes with a cloth and took me to the terrace. When I opened my eyes, the decorations left me in tears of joy. We took photos to make memories. We danced like nobody was watching. A marvelous cake with many more delicious items tempted me.
 
Things changed and I was the happiest birthday girl out there. During the Pandemic, this birthday was enough. I was so grateful to everyone.

One Passed Away, Fourteen Badly Injured

A woman died and 14 people were badly injured when a bus moving on Pehowa highway Kurukshetra lost control and turned to Jyotisar village in Kurukshetra district on 27 February 2020 in the morning. This incident took place under police station of Kurukshetra University. The woman who left the world was 67 years old and other 14 were young. A boy of 19 years got serious injury in his leg and that leg have to be amputated. Police said, 3 people got serious injury and were taken to Chandigarh hospital for treatment while 11 were treated at LNJP hospital and were discharged soon.   Sources told, the condition of that area was poor and the driver lost control due to high and dangerous stones on the road and because of high speed of the bus and self mistake by driver. The driver was taken to the station and was investigated. Police made a case against the driver under Section 279(rash driving) and 304 A(causing death)of the Indian Penal Code.

My Puppy Love

My life would be incomplete without a dog. I have one named Spud. He is an adorable brown and white dog. His cuteness make it easy to understand why Shih Tzu breed is the best. He is friendly with everyone. Spud makes me feel protected and I know, he is always with me. He gets excited to see me when I come back home. Most of the time he wants attention because he is scared of being ignored. Whenever I am upset, he cheers by licking me and showering lots of love. He loves playing, jumping and running. I have a separate beautiful red and black bed for him. He has become a family member and everyone in the family treats him well. He protects house from strangers specially at night.  Believe me, the best thing in life is to have a dog. Spud is the best and I love him. We share a strong relationship.

A Chapter Of Unlucky Adventure

Lavanya sat with comfort as she completed the last task in list of the day. She wanted everything to be fine as it was her cousin's wedding. After getting ready, Lavanya booked a cab to the metro station, left the house and moved towards the cab. Suddenly the cab got stuck in traffic jam. After that, she reached the metro station late but the metro was there and was about to leave the platform. Lavanya went into the metro. She then felt comfortable.  With the passage of time, Lavanya found, she was not in a correct metro.
